Improvements to Studio: Tighter timing, clip stretching and fade curves.
We’ve been listening to your feedback and have implemented a load of new functionality in Suno Studio. Here’s what’s new:
Better down-beat detection
We’ve made improvements to the detection of beat 1 in new clip creations. This means the timing of clips and takes on the Studio timeline is greatly improved, and there is more accuracy around the first downbeat in a clip. Now, the experience of working with non rhythmic clips, such as a cappella vocals, is smoother and the need to manually align is reduced.
Clip stretching
We’ve added a new feature where shift-click-dragging automatically timestretches a clip. This is useful for matching samples and found sounds with tracks in Studio projects, regardless of the tempo. It’s super fast, too... try it for yourself!
Clip fade curves
Clip fades, which let you smoothly fade audio clips in and out, have been part of Studio for a while. Until now, those fades were linear. Now, you can shape the curve by dragging the node on the fade icon to create exponential- and logarithmic-shaped fades.
Pop-out windows
You can now pop out the wavetable synth, musical typing keyboard and expanded plug-in views to a floating window that can be dragged around the screen and even onto other monitors.
