Suno Studio: Improved MIDI and more

New FeatureImprovementBug FixSTUDIOWEBPERFORMANCE

We’ve made improvements to Studio’s MIDI performance, and now working with MIDI in Studio is much more accurate and creatively inspiring. Specifically, transcription from MIDI to audio is faster, has more musical context, and is more accurate to the original. For example, you can ask the chat bar to create new audio stems based on a MIDI clip and get super accurate results. Another benefit of the new update is that prompting MIDI from scratch using the chat bar yields much better and more expected results.

These improvements open up a whole new world of creative possibilities that are unique to the Suno experience. Upload MIDI files from long-lost compositions made outside of Suno, then breathe new life into them in Studio. Ever wondered what your synth parts would sound like as a guitar solo... or gamelan orchestra!? Now you can find out, and we hope these discoveries inspire you to take your creativity further.

Aside from the MIDI improvements, we have also fixed some bugs and made some general usability updates. For example, you can now rename clips either individually (right-click on the clip and select Rename) or using the chat bar, with a prompt like “rename all my clips to reflect the track names.

If you're new to Studio, find out more here. If you're a Studio user already, we hope you enjoy using this new functionality. Look out for more updates soon!
