Why do the wicked dance in the light, While good folks are crying alone in the night? We point our fingers and raise our fists— But maybe there’s something we’ve all missed. We shout for justice, we beg for peace, But bitterness won’t make the hurting cease. If sin’s the poison deep in the well, Then maybe it’s me who needs to be healed. God whispers soft through the war and the cries, "Child, the real enemy hides in disguise. It’s not your neighbor, it’s not their skin— But the shadow within that draws you in." "Don’t trade your love for righteous rage; Let My Spirit turn the page. Create in you a heart made new— A spirit right, a soul made true." It’s easy to blame, to curse the flood, But we’re all cracked jars, stained with mud. The world we see is the fruit of years Of hearts unturned and uncried tears. But mercy still flows from God above— And healing begins with holy love. What’s sin got to do with it? Everything that’s broken, torn, and split. But grace has got the final say— And love can light the narrow way. So I won’t fight my brother no more— I’ll lay my hate at heaven’s door. God wins, sin loses—yes, that’s it! Tell me now… what’s sin got to do with it? It’s not in shouting I find peace, But when I kneel, my chains release. The fight was never flesh and bone, But lies that keep our hearts alone. And now I see, through tear-stained eyes, The cross was love in its truest guise. What’s sin got to do with it? It tried to steal, divide, and quit— But Jesus broke its deadly grip, And gave us truth through all His pain The grave’s been emptied, the veil is torn, The day of joy has now been born! So dance, rejoice, let praises hit— 'Cause sin don’t win, not one little bit! What’s sin got to do with it? If love still lives… And God still gives… Then sin’s got nothin’ on grace.
