Push on Back

electro-dance dark machine-soul, contemporary low-end-focused mix with one-beat voids, harmonic jolts and layered vocal counter-rhythms; deep male bass-baritone, dry gritty robotic-human delivery, short melodic phrases, clipped syllables, irregular repetitions, sudden octave jumps and stacked vocal pileups; enormous mutating distorted sub-bass motif, hard modern kick, fractured percussion and sparse flickering metallic details; driving displaced club pulse with rhythmic displacement and subtly changing cycles

[VERSE 1]
Something's in the air tonight
Heavy on the block
Every little move I make
Something makes me stop

Heat running underneath my skin
Got my whole frame twitchin'
Something keeps on winding up
And I ain't done resistin'

PRESSURE

[PRE-CHORUS]
I feel it when I move
I feel it when I breathe
Something got a hold on me
Something underneath

I push against the pressure
It pulls me back again
The closer that I get to it
The harder it gets to pretend

[VERSE 2]
Late night, low light
Concrete under my feet
Some-then in the way you move
Got the whole room off-beat

Heat running through my bloodstream
Got my senses twitchin'
One touch turns the silence up
Now everything is different
