Never giving up isn't easy I'd rather just throw in the flag Life's a ride that makes me queezy Just because it can be a real drag But I carry on and lift my head I know that it's worth keeping going One day I will be dead It's a scary thought just knowing So I try not to dwell on such dark thoughts I smile and laugh and let it go My stomach releases it's many knots I know I'll reap what I sow I try to sow kindness, compassion, and care Because I know one day my time will cut short And I know the world is not always fair But I'd rather keep going than just abort I know in the past I've been cruel and mean I've said such horrible things But forgiveness exists from what I have seen And I've felt the serenity that it brings
