[Intro] (tv static sound) [Verse one] I was watching what ya might call an action show It was on tv, so why they call it streamin' well I don't know I flipped to one of those modern westerns, had the same do Went to the kitchen, my wife's show sounded the same too It occurred to me when I sat back down Well this all makes me feel like a gall dern fool [Pre Chorus] I swear they got together in one big room Let's all keep talkin' about doom and gloom Same darn thing is on, under every mushroom [Chorus] All I heard, and all I seen was Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' And another thing, more Cryin' and Grievin' In on the start, and on at the end Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' Then just boot it back up again. [Verse two] Now I don't object to what you watch Hell I even waited for a new season to launch But someone sure is making money It's the guy writing copy that just ain't funny If someone isn't shot they'll soon get that way Everyone ends up crying by the end of the day [Pre Chorus] I think those script's come from a copy and paste Don't let a good idea go to waste Cause the same thing is on, in every room [Chorus] All I heard, and all I seen was Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' And another thing, more Cryin' and Grievin' In on the start, and at the end Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' [Bridge] So here's an idea for that next show If they want to rinse and repeat Someone ought to just say "NO" Well I know it's post haste heat Gotta pump out that next hit show Even if it ain't good or ready to go There must be some new idea That don't include all that verbal diarrhea [Chorus] All I heard, and all I seen was Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' And another thing, more Cryin' and Grievin' In on the start, and at the end Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' [Outro] Well I am just an old rube Is it any better on the You of the Tube? Now don't you worry, just turn it off Pick any show, because that's where they left off Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin' Cryin' and Grievin'
