(Verse 1) My gentle pup, wagging with glee, Saw a stranger pass, barked playfully. But eyes turned cold, a flash of steel, A threat to silence, a life to steal. (Chorus) "I'm gonna get that little dog," he said, Those chilling words fill me with dread. A barking dog, no cause for plight, Why must kindness face a violent night See this piece I wave it around Son watch out, gonna get that hound Love Thy Neighbor the Bible says But if you leave that gate up your dog is dead Leave it up, your best friend is dead Watch your hound I fill em with lead If you turn around your best friends dead No matter what the Bible says I get scared I get the dog instead
