The lyrics are so upbeat and relaxed, and yet the music conveys a sense of... something else. Unease? Tension? Something more energetic anyway. Driven, almost. Almost he opposite of a classic beach/relax song that the lyrics follow along in the tradition.
It feels like a hint, or subtext. Maybe that's just me, where everything feels ominous and fraught with danger right now.
I like it. It feels like there's a complex theme just under the surface.
