****************************************** Hey everyone! Itโ€™s been several weeks since I last posted here. Real life and work have been keeping me incredibly busy lately. Being self-employed thereโ€™s always something that needs doing! That makes it all the more special to finally finish the last chapter of โ€œRapid Eye Movementโ€ with โ€œStill Dreaming You.โ€ I didnโ€™t want to rush this song. I wanted to give it the same time and care Iโ€™ve given every track on this album. The whole album is a deeply personal record for me, with every lyric written by me. Work will continue to keep me busy for a while, and I still have plenty of illustrations to draw. Taking a step back from SUNO and my creative music projects has actually been good for me in other ways, too. Right now, it feels like โ€œRapid Eye Movementโ€ might be my last album as Divided Horizons, and Iโ€™ll be turning my attention to a new music project once I have some breathing room again. Iโ€™m looking forward to catching up with you all. See you soon! ******************************************* Album: RAPID EYE MOVEMENT | Track 4 Full Album: https://suno.com/playlist/f813038c-4e1a-493a-a5c7-fad5880d4d8e ยฉ 2026 Sashariel | DIVIDED HORIZONS D๊–พS ยท divided-horizons.de A solo music project created by Sashariel. Lyrics written by Sashariel (English translation assisted) ************ > LYRICS [Intro] Hmm-Mm Still dreaming you. [Verse 1] The train is crowded enough that nobody really stands out. I'm sitting by the window, headphones too loud. The song I usually sing along to is already at its second chorus, and I have no idea how it even started. Houses blur past in the glass, my reflection somewhere in between. And for a moment that image from last night's dream comes back again. You, at least. Or your eyes. Or whatever was still left of them when I woke up this morning. [Pre-Chorus] I keep trying to put your face back together. Your eyes. Your hair. Something. The longer I think about it, the less sure I get. [Chorus] I know I dreamed of you last night. I know you probably don't exist. But when I think about you, it feels more like remembering than thinking about a dream. And I don't quite understand how I can miss someone I wouldn't even recognize today. Actually, I don't know if missing you is what this is. Still dreaming you. Still dreaming you. [Verse 2] Two rows ahead, a woman is sitting by the window. I look over once. Then again. Something about her eyes. Maybe... I only realize I've been staring when she suddenly looks back. Shit. I look outside immediately. Three seconds later I'm already wondering again if her eyes really looked like yours, or if I'm just starting to look for you everywhere. I unlock my phone. Forget why. There's a message. I read half of it. Then somehow I'm thinking about you again. [Pre-Chorus] And another image comes back. We're sitting somewhere. I don't remember where. You lean against me like it's completely normal. Like we've known each other long enough not to think about it. Maybe it happened differently. I'm not really sure anymore. But that part always comes back the same. [Chorus] I know I dreamed of you last night. And I know I'm wide awake now. But when I think about you, it feels more like remembering than thinking about a dream. I can barely remember your face. I still remember how normal it felt when you leaned against me. Maybe that's what this is. Still dreaming you. Still dreaming you. [Bridge] I've spent all day trying to remember what happened. Now I catch myself making up what came next. What would you have said? Where would we have gone? And then, usually a little too late, I notice I'm not remembering anymore. I'm sitting here wide awake, continuing a dream that ended hours ago. Earlier I thought about a summer I'm pretty sure really happened. For a second, you were there too. That can't be right. I went through it again. You were gone. So... good, I guess. But now I'm not even sure which version I remembered first. [Crescendo] Maybe I've been trying to remember the wrong thing. Your face is almost gone. I still know exactly what it felt like when you were there. [Final Chorus] I know I dreamed of you last night. And I know some of this I only dreamed up today. By now I probably couldn't tell which parts were there from the start. I can't really see your face anymore. I just don't understand why the feeling is still this clear. Still dreaming you. Still dreaming you. [Outro] The train takes the same route back. The same song starts again. This time I tell myself I'm actually going to listen. Somewhere along the way I start wondering what you would've said if the dream had gone on. Then I catch myself. I just made that part up. The song is almost over. ...Damn. (Damn)
