The War of Ages

In a dark foggy world a great battle is raging. I boy small weak and scared is faced with a horde of powerful fiery demons of Hell. All he has to rely on is the glowing Sword of the Spirit in his right hand, the mighty Shield of Faith in his left hand, and a Spirit presumably of God that guides him on his journey to find and enter the Holy Haven that lies on the other side of the Valley of the Shadow of Death. The demons he faces grow stronger and more terrifying with every encounter and his hope starts to falter, but the Spirit of God guiding him encourages and lifts him up. Slowly trudging his way through this war of ages and through the Valley of Death, he finds that the more he trusts in the Spirit that empowers the Sword and the Shield he wields, the bolder he is to fight through the demonic assault. However, as he crawls deeper into the valley, he finds he’s fighting a different kind of battle when the demons begin to tempt him with the desires of his heart as well as tempting him to distrust the Spirit guiding him. The enemy is cunning as a serpent, and often appears as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but behind the disguise the demons are more hideous and terrible than he could imagine. In this brutal life of uncertainty, deception, cruelty, and pain, he finds it takes everything he has to hold on to the truth and trust in the Spirit guiding him, and to be bold enough to pick up The Sword and The Shield and fight through the terror of night. In this epic quest to stand true to the end and make it to the Holy Haven where he can finally rest in absence of fear and pain, he learns the greatest lesson of Faith and Courage. The Sword and the Shield shine bright as he holds true to what he believes and to what is good and right. With a heroes heart his once timid heart roars like a lion and soars on wings like eagles!
