The word for today is Glow. Now, what glows..? [more] [verse] I sat and I pondered for quite a while, to try and decide if I should tackle a new NeonPlat game using JSE. [chorus] And I had to double check because I wasn't entirely sure if I'd already made a NeonPlat using JSE before. [break] [verse] I scanned through the archive as well as my projects, and came across NeonPlat's Festive Trees, which I made back in 2021, so it would've been one of the earliest games I did in the engine. [drop][chorus] I made a bunch of games (games) in December '21, and though most of them still work, this one seems to stick (stick) when you hit "fire" (fire) on the menu. (on the menu) [bridge] In the end, I figured what the heck, and decided to make a mini version of NeonPlat Adventures in JSE. [instrumental] [verse] I made extra use of the "Glow" keyword by making the whole level dim as time passes by. [drop][chorus] To light things up again, (again) all you have to do (to do) is hit a baddy (baddy) with a sphere (sphere) and then smash it (smash it) before it floats away. (it floats away) [verse] You can collect flags to earn a checkpoint, too. With each checkpoint you earn, you need to collect more flags for the next one, so maybe pace yourself with those!! [break] [outro] All in all, it's the typical NeonPlat concept, but with a little added extra! Hopefully you enjoy it.
