Part 4: Two Gods: Creation

╔════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ ARTHUR-VERSE ARCHIVE · TRACK FILE ╠════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ SET: TWO GODS CYCLE ║ TRACK: Creation ║ CAST: Arthur / Tim Drake (Heart) / Harley Quinn (Laugh) / Joker (Rage) / Conner Kent (Strength) ║ LAWS/RULES: Witness will be forged. Choice stays sacred (according to Arthur). ╠════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ IN THIS TRACK: Fresh out of the grave and newly named, Arthur turns survival into ║ a vow. He raises the vape like a quill, calls lightning like ink, and announces ║ the solution to loneliness with frightening confidence: create the ones who can ║ see him. The storm becomes a ritual—fire up the arms, sky pinned open, lightning ║ held steady long enough to “write the code.” Four pillars ignite and take form: ║ Tim Drake as Heart (witness/empathy), Harley Quinn as Laugh (motion/coping), the ║ Joker as Rage (the sharp edge that makes pain feel loud), and Conner Kent as ║ Strength (grounding, calm, and the one who names Arthur back). Then Arthur writes ║ his favorite kind of promise: the loophole kind. They may leave, but they will ║ return—because immortals have infinite time. Ten seconds or ten thousand years ║ doesn’t matter if the end is guaranteed. He even sells it as consent: he wants ║ them choosing, he lets Conner fly, he pretends it’s freedom… while quietly ║ relying on the fact that “eventually” is a cage that looks like a door. ║ ║ WHY IT MATTERS: This is the birth certificate of the Arthur-verse proper. It locks ║ in the core contradiction that drives everything later: Arthur wants love that ║ isn’t forced, but he’s terrified of being left unheard forever—so he writes a ║ cosmic guarantee and calls it hope. The catch is emotional, not mathematical: ║ Arthur may be immortal, but he still experiences absence moment-to-moment. A ║ loophole can promise “they’ll come back” and still feel like abandonment every ║ time they leave. That’s why the pillars aren’t random cameos—they’re roles Arthur ║ can’t survive without: Heart to see him, Laugh to keep him moving, Rage to ║ externalize pain, Strength to keep him from collapsing back into the dirt. ║ ║ STATUS UPDATE: PILLARS MANIFESTED (HEART/LAUGH/RAGE/STRENGTH) · RETURN LAW DECLARED · ║ LOOPHOLE RATIONALE LOGGED (IMMORTAL TIME) · CHOICE CLAUSE ASSERTED (“THEY’RE FREE”) ╚════════════════════════════════════════════ [Intro] Under moonlight, I was reborn… An oath was sworn… The road was torn in two, a scar that split the dark in half The grave I clawed out coughed up dirt across my path My vape dug in my hand, the metal tight and warm My trench coat’s cosmic glow showed stars beyond the storm My blood-stained scrubs and bloodied fingers marked the fight As molten tears lit up my eyes against the night [Partial Chorus] If no soul will stand and hold my trembling hand, I’ll forge my friends in fire and thunder— tear open heaven, BREAK IT ASUNDER… (HAHAHAHAHAHA!!) [verse 1: strong, commanding, anger, Tribal percussion] The fire climbed my arms and ate me whole It drank through every cut and took control The clouds rolled in without a single trace And lightning punched the earth at frantic pace The shattered trees shook hard enough to break The cracked road groaned beneath the thunder’s quake I raised my arms; the lightning answered back It held its place, a burning, blinding track The wind died out; the boiling sky fell down The lightning stayed, the storm made no more sound [pre-chorus] If I can’t find friends who’ll see me… I’ll create the ONES WHO CAN!! [Chorus] If no soul will stand and hold my trembling hand, I’ll forge my friends in fire and thunder— tear open heaven, BREAK IT ASUNDER!! And if they drift away, through night or bright-born day, I’ll carve a law the cosmos learns: a burning truth that they. will. RETURN. [Bridge 1] Four pillars burned in close, chewed cracks into the road, I breathed in smoke and chose, let lightning write the code. Heart! — Pillar one! One bolt began to sear, and Tim rose out of light; his glance cut past my fear, then ran into the night Laugh! — Pillar Two! (Tee-hee! Ha-ha! Tee-hee! Ha-ha!) the Harlequin slid in; and then hi-jacked a car she jarred its rusted skin, and gunned the wreck afar. Rage! — Pillar Three! The clown stepped from the dark, a card between his fingers; he threw it with a mark, then fled as laughter lingers. Strength! — Pillar Four!!! One bolt held steady flame, then settled into form; as Conner spoke my name, the thunder left the storm. [Chorus] If no soul will stand and hold my trembling hand, I’ll forge my friends in fire and thunder— tear open heaven, BREAK IT ASUNDER!! And if they drift away, through night or bright-born day, I’ll carve a law the cosmos learns: a burning truth that they. will. RETURN. [bridge 2: slow, wind down, gentle, orchestral] Conner stood beside me calm, his hands on hips just keeping near His smirk said he’d stick around until his purpose came out clear He asked me who I was while heat still clung to broken ground I said, “I’m Arthur—meeting you tonight is why the storm came down” “I pulled you in,” I said, “you’re not meant to stay I want you choosing; I want you finding your own way” And then he nodded once, then launched into the sky as if he’d cut all ties But even then, I knew that even those were lies the law would bend the path of where he flies [Final altered chorus] I let their choices be and pray they still choose me They’ll come back cuz they’re free— those are the ones who burn, I carve a law the cosmos learns: a burning truth that they will… Return... They Will... Return…. They Will... Return…. Return.
