As I think of the austerity imposed, 
And dreamed of the rubbish life being disposed, 
By changes in fortune
That glimmer with hope.
I think of the disasters that the unfortunate have had no choice to but 
battle with and cope.
The cuts
That are the deepest
Scar society
Divisions
Orchestrated by 
The ruthless
Who live in bubbles of fortune. 
Look at what has happened
We regress back to times when 
The mortality rate has risen
Where education has declined
The Police 
Fire
And 
The Medical services are more pressured
And our allies are maligned. 
Tower blocks 
In flames
The Fire Brigade blamed. 
The smear
The fear
To me it is clear
That a change is gonna come
When the voices of the many
Send  a message to the hedge fund gamblers and the five percent - 
Explaining to them
That society is not a commodity for rent. 
That we see the truth
The last few years we have been ruled by the corrupt and bent. 
A revolution
Of reform
Should make life one 
That should make it feel like it has been a life well spent. 
Maybe the elite should face the next ten years living in a refugees tent. 
Then maybe eat some humble pie. 
Then they would understand the reasons and the why
And, how we can not be oppressed anymore. 
How we need to rid ourselves of this nations gluttonous flaw
That is the monstrosity of power wielded by the ignorant who live in ivory towers thinking that they are somehow above the law. 
It's not for sale
The salvation of a nation
The place that we need. 
It is wrong to see the country devastated by the one per cent whose motivation is
Greed.
