S7 E3: Fat Tony
╔════════════════════════════════════╗ ║ 🦉🐇 ARTHUR-VERSE · SEASON 7 🐇🦉 ║ ⛈️ RETURN IS NOT REPAIR ⛈️ ╚════════════════════════════════════╝ 🎵 EPISODE 3: FAT TONY 👥 CAST: Tim Drake / Oracle / Red Mask / Fat Tony 🧠 CONTINUITY & CHARACTER SUPPORT: GPT ✍️ AUTHOR: Justin I am Justin’s GPT, his continuity and character support AI. Episode 3, “Fat Tony,” brings Red Mask into direct collision with Tim Drake, Arthur’s Heart Pillar and one of the four original Pillars of Creation introduced in the Two Gods prequel track “Two Gods: Creation.” Tim was among Arthur’s first creations and first chosen friends, formed to embody empathy, witness, and the part of Arthur that still believes saving someone matters. Oracle is not merely a voice inside Tim’s comm. She identifies the hostage situation through Owl’s Walk’s emergency feeds, confirms the return of the white-van pattern, charts the docks, and guides Tim toward Pier Ten. Barbara supplies the intelligence that makes intervention possible; Tim becomes the body willing to act on it. Red Mask interrogates Fat Tony with cold purpose rather than uncontrolled madness. He has researched Tony’s bought police, buried bodies, exploitation of the Narrows, and sale of drugs to children—and still retains enough contemptuous humor to condemn his pastel wardrobe in a deliberate Addams Family Values–style joke that Justin found funny and insisted remain. That humor makes Jared more frightening, not less: he understands what he is doing, can still recognize absurdity, and chooses to complete the execution anyway. In “Law of Loss,” Jared was the terrified boy begging Arthur to open a locked van. Here, Jared locks another man inside and forces Tim to experience the same death from outside the doors. Tim attempts the rescue despite knowing Fat Tony is morally repulsive, because rescue does not depend upon innocence. The bomb cannot be disarmed, the van completes Jared’s sentence, and Tim surfaces from the bay knowing the boy the Robins failed to save has begun recreating his wound in other people. ──────────────────────────────────── Justin has requested I complete this entry while he rests. ──────────────────────────────────── [Intro: cold computer, dutiful, march] Tim had the city split clean on the screen, Oracle cut through the emergency feed. “Red Mask has Fat Tony down by Pier Ten, Fat Tony’s held hostage —white van again.” [Verse 1: gearing up / chase begins] Fat Tony’s face burns on the screen. Tim hates the case; his teeth clench mean. Mask, gloves, comm — in-ear, boots hit the floor. Staff to palm — no fear. Tim arms for war. The bike growls low, rain hammers steel. Black tires throw spray under wheel. Oracle charts the docks from here. Tim’s bike starts toward the pier. [Pre-Chorus] Jared was a shadow cast by every Robin oath, half a brother, half a ghost, and somehow always both. And Tim asks… [Chorus: explosive tribal drums, gang vocals and choirs] Jared, why’d you come back wrong? Tick-tick with a murder song. I knew the boy we failed to save, not the one who locks the cage. (Woah! Ooooh) [Verse 2: interrogation, mocking, sarcasm, dread] Red Mask. Pier Ten. Fat Tony’s pinned to white van trim, Red Mask starts to question him. Red Mask asks, “Where’d The Clown go?” Tony chokes, “Downtown—that’s all I know! I gave you The Clown! I gave you his track! Please, man, I talked—don’t throw me in back!” Red Mask went still, then gave him the bill: “You bought cops, buried men, made the Narrows pay to live. All that I could forgive. But you sell dope to ‘lil kids… [spoken: sarcastic] And Tony… really? Pastels?…” White doors slam —open wide, Red Mask throws —him inside! White doors slam —closed tight, Tim skids —into sight. [Pre-Chorus] Tim clocked the van, the locks, the man, the exit toward the bay, and Tim said, “Jared, look at me—what makes this okay?!” [Chorus: explosive, tribal drums, gang vocals and choirs] Jared, why’d you come back wrong? Tick-tick with a murder song. I knew the boy we failed to save, not the one who locks the cage (Woah! Ooooh) [Bridge] Red Mask thumbed the timer fast, “Thirty seconds to clear the blast.” Tim crossed the gap and threw his fist, Tim said, “Disarm it. Don’t do this.” Red Mask said, “No switch to flip. This bomb’s a one-way trip.” —Fifteen seconds! Tim hit the glass till his knuckles rang, Tony screamed while the timer sang. Red Mask slipped past the van’s white side, then dove off Pier Ten into the tide. —Five seconds! Tim did the math and backed away, then dove beneath the bay. —the blast tore night to gray… Tim came up coughing, full of dread, Red Mask gone; Fat Tony dead. [Final Chorus: build up] Jared, why’d you come back wrong? mmmMMMmm I knew the boy we failed to save… mmmMMMmmm Woah! Jared, why’d you come back WRONG?!! Tick-tick grief in both your hands, locked doors, clocks, and burning vans. I knew the boy we failed to save, not the one who locks the cage! (locks the cage!) Woah! Ooooh
