╔════════════════════════════════════╗ ║ WELCOME TO THE ARTHUR-VERSE · S2 ║ ╚════════════════════════════════════╝ Arthur is a self-created author and storm god. He believes he created this world. Arthur remains trapped inside Memory— cut off from the city, from his tether, from his own future— and without witness, even a god begins to erode. 🧠🏛️📋 DREAM BREACH NOTICE 📋🏛️🧠 ──────────────────────────────────── “I Will Not Be Stone” is the first true breach from the Hall of Memory. Tim falls asleep holding the kintsugi mug, and the mug becomes a conduit. Inside the dream, he enters a cavern where church bells ring and finds not Arthur as he knows him, but a stone-bound beast on a throne — something gargoyle-like, sealed in marble. With every bell, the stone cracks further. A hand breaks free. The creature looks at its own talons and says, “Talons… I can’t write with these.” Only then does Tim understand what he’s seeing: the stars tearing loose around the beast are Arthur’s stars. This is Arthur stripped down to raw imagination — power without witness, language, or control. Tim tries to answer, but the beast cannot hear him. It panics. It calls for Tim, Conner, Harley, Caden — anyone — while the chamber destabilizes around it. Every bell splinters more marble. More stars tear loose. The seal is failing. Tim wakes with the warning made plain: if Arthur remains trapped in Memory without witness, this form will break free. And if it does, the current universe will not survive it. Arthur will reset reality and author a new world where someone will finally see him. He cannot stay caged in Memory. If no one remembers him on purpose, the Arthur-verse ends. ──────────────────────────────────── 🛎️🗿🌌 STATUS UPDATE · WITNESS REQUIRED 🌌🗿🛎️ ──────────────────────────────────── [intro: Third Person Omniscient PoV] Tim has a choice, and it comes with a cost Pull Arthur from Memory, or leave him lost He grips the kintsugi mug—gold seams that shine Falls asleep as the room redraws its lines [verse 1: Tim’s PoV] I’m in a cave; the ceiling tight My shoes scrape stone in zero light A rumble—no—somebody cries “Help me,” it says, and something dies “Don’t let me be alone,” it pleads The words fall hard like iron beads I follow where the echo goes The cave inhales; the pressure grows I keep on walking, step by step Until I reach the place it’s kept [pre-chorus: build up: bourdon bells intensify] The echoes swell—an iron spell Church bells inside this cavern’s hell They count the dark in measured tones Each note hairlines the living stone [chorus] Ding dong pain breaks free It captures me I hear the plea—ding dong The desperate ache, The world he makes Born from tragedy [verse 2: Tim finds the beast] I find a chamber carved for a throne I see a beast encased in stone Marble skin, a fitted crown He sits in fire burning all around His wings twitch once—then start to shake Like something huge tryin’ to wake Stone flakes off; the marble splits Galaxies burn through starry slits I know those stars, they shine in place That’s Arthur, but that’s not his face His eyes go red; the marble bleeds Hot, molten lines like urgent needs One arm breaks free with grinding sound The shattered pieces hit the ground He stares at his hand, and then he breathes, “Talons… I can’t write with these—” He calls once more, and calls for me He shouts “Tim!” but cannot see [Dark Choir shouted] “Conner, Harley, Caden!” he calls their names. I answer back—he can’t hear me through the flames. [pre-chorus: build up] “I will not be stone,” he swears, unbroken “Please witness me,” the last words spoken The bells hit hard; the ceiling shakes Like every ring is what it takes [chorus: Tim Witnesses the Beast’s turmoil] Ding dong-Ding dong Pain breaks free It captures me I hear the plea—ding dong The desperate ache, The world he makes Born from tragedy [bridge: Tim tries to intervene but is pushed back by the violent eruptions from the beast’s panic] He claws at marble, sparks and grit Like rage that won’t stay in its pit Those wings kick air; the cavern sways The heavens bleed into a haze I shout his name; he doesn’t turn My voice hits stone and fails to learn A star-streak hits me, hard and raw I hit the rock and lock my jaw The bells go wide—then cuts to black The dream drops out; I don’t go back [final chorus: church bells toll] Ding-dong Ding-dong pain breaks free It captures me I hear the plea—ding dong The desperate ache, The world he makes Born from tragedy If he stays caged in Memory The universe resets—no remedy The bells will ring the names away I wake; I choose—no more delay [whisper] I’ll find the way! [outro: choir] Here in my room, still holding gold That kintsugi mug, all cracked and mended The dream still rings; my choice is told— I have to save him, or this world is ended
