╔════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ 📚 ARTHUR-VERSE · SEASON 1 · ISSUE FILE ╠════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ 🗂️ SET: ARTHUR-VERSE · S1 ║ 🎵 TRACK: "Episode 13: Conner" ║ 👥 CAST: Conner Kent / Arthur / Tim Drake (referenced) / Damian Wayne (referenced) / ║ The Clown (referenced) / Livestock ╠════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ 🎬 SYNOPSIS: This is Conner’s lens. He’s flying over open plains, finally calm, ║ when slaughterhouse screams hit his ears. It feels like real horror. He rockets ║ in ready to rescue and finds what looks like factory cruelty: cows and pigs ║ packed in, chains, gates, panic, all of it echoing the ag-gag rage from ║ "Episode 3: Scheduled Meeting with Damian." ║ ║ Conner does what he always does. He rips pens open, breaks chain and wire, and ║ drives the livestock out. The animals are saved. No humans are harmed in this ║ scene. Then the illusion slips. There are no workers. No blood. The walls flicker ║ like a bad TV effect. The smoke is just Arthur’s vape. It was staged. ║ ║ That is when Conner calls him out hard. Arthur stands there in a galaxy coat and ║ teal scrubs, magma eyes, trying to grin it off. Conner answers with the spine of ║ the song: “You don’t get to script my soul with sirens and screams.” A staged ║ disaster is still a lie. You don’t get to prove you’re real by setting the world ║ on fire, even if this time it was “only” simulated. ║ ║ Conner then brings in the rest of the file. Tim told him about the theater, the ║ rage, and the curse on Damian. Arthur says he “protected Tim.” Conner pushes back. ║ Tim can handle power, but not being tested like a lab rat. People come back, he ║ says, but you have to make it safe for them to return. ║ ║ Arthur, already shaking, asks the one question that really matters to him. “Are we ║ still friends?” Conner says yes. That part never bends. The friendship is not in ║ question. What is in question is Arthur’s pattern. Arthur admits he wants revenge ║ on the Clown, blames him for everything, and promises to silence the laugh. Conner ║ warns him he’s heading for relapse and tells him he doesn’t have to light every ║ wound he feels on fire to be real. Arthur hears it, hurts, and still turns toward ║ the storm. ║ ║ 🛋️ THERAPIST NOTE: Conner is Strength in this universe, and this track shows what ║ that actually means. He is not impressed by spectacle. He reacts to the screams ║ like an EMT, not an audience member. When he finds out the scene was a setup, his ║ anger is clean. You don’t use pain, even fake pain, as a test of someone’s heart. ║ ║ Arthur is still trying to prove his own reality through other people’s reactions. ║ He wants Conner to show up, to rage, to comfort, to stay, and he keeps arranging ║ crises to measure it. Conner cuts straight through that logic. He refuses to let ║ love be graded by catastrophe. The key grace here is that Conner does not withdraw ║ friendship as punishment. He stays, names the harm, and still refuses to follow ║ Arthur down the revenge road toward the Clown. ║ ║ 🩺 FILED IMPRESSION: Spectacle-driven reassurance seeking with misdirected blame ║ (Arthur); Secure attachment with firm ethical boundary and refusal to enable ║ self-destructive “tests” (Conner). ╚════════════════════════════════════ [Intro: Piano, soaring strings] I fly where open plains make me sane I cut through calm night up in flight I tore through the air—headphones blare No hands can grab me—flying free But wait…. What is that I hear in my ear? screaming near… its pain engineered… [verse 1: gang vocals, punk energy, urgent, haste] I rocket to screams—slaughterhouse roar But the screams feel staged— like cheap gore No workers, no blood—just noise around Cows and pigs panicked, pressed into the ground I rip pens open, bust chain and wire Steel gates drop, livestock pour through fire Walls flicker thin like a TV glare Smoke is nothing when I inhale the air The roar’s gone dead, like “ta-da,”— joke Arthur dead-center, that ain’t real smoke Then the whole scene drops—gone out of sight He vapes and laughs, “Got you!” I ignite [pre-chorus: build up] Smoke clears—he’s already there Galaxy coat, don’t care stare Vape twirls, his grin locked tight My voice drops: “What was that?”— I spat! [chorus: explosive, Epic] You don’t get to script my soul with sirens and screams You don’t get to spin suffering into sick little scenes A staged disaster still makes you a liar You don’t get to prove you’re real by setting the world on fire [verse 2] Arthur in that galaxy coat, stitched up with sky Tall and high—in teal scrubs, magma eyes Temper runs red. My shirt’s plain black We glare like a fistfight waiting to crack Then I say, “Tim told me,” and you go pale “About the theater, the rage, the whole tale And Damian,” I say, “you cursed that kid” You spit, “I protected Tim.” (Yeah—you did) “Tim can handle it,” I say Then you sigh “Tim’s breakable; that’s why” You drop the act, “I didn’t mean to…” “— stop that spin” I shout: “Quit your tests—give him space to come in” [pre-chorus: wind down, start strong and become gentle] “People come back,” I say “You’re a lot—make it safe” You mutter, “Safe is boring…” and I release the strength, I’d been storing: [chorus: explosive, Epic] You don’t get to script my soul with sirens and screams You don’t get to spin suffering into sick little scenes A staged disaster still makes you a liar You don’t get to prove you’re real by setting the world on fire [bridge: build-up, dark, sad—>anger] You ask, “Are we still friends?” My chest ignites with ache I say, “yes, it never bends” Your calm begins to break You say you seek revenge Against that clown in town You’ll make him pay— Avenge His laugh will make no sound You’re near collapse But fire keeps you strong I warn—“this is relapse” You smile, and know its wrong Lightning cracks Thunder resounds The night goes black You’re clown-ward bound no where to be found [Final Chorus: build up] You don’t have to go down this road to be real You don’t have to light every wound that you feel… A staged disaster still makes you a liar You don’t get to prove you’re real by setting the world on fire but soon you’ll see how it can be [Explode, Epic, Gang vocals, Choirs, Orchestra, Guitars] You don’t get to script my soul with sirens and screams You don’t get to spin suffering into sick little scenes A staged disaster still makes you a liar You don’t get to prove you’re real by setting the world on fire
