╔════════════════════════════════════╗ ║ 🌽 THE PROVISION LEDGER 🌽 ║ ARTHUR-VERSE · SEASON 6.5 ║ THE FALL OF ELLSBORG ╚════════════════════════════════════╝ LEDGER ENTRY 3: Dynamic Duo ──────────────────────── 🌾 WITNESS: The Golden Farmer ⚡ STORM INTERFERENCE: Arthur of Owl’s Walk 🌽 PROVISION STATUS: Contested. Golden Farmer: Not provision. Hunger given a road. Arthur: I gave the Clown work before he threw himself off my roof. 🌾 ACCOUNT: I saw Harley find the Clown on the roof. I saw him name himself Tollkeeper and crown their crossing with laughter. The bridge asked what each one hungered for. Harley said justice, then corrected herself: vengeance. The Clown said useful, then gagged on the truth. Arthur did not speak from the doorway. He did not command the crossing. He let two hungers find the same road and called that agency. This is not provision. This is passage. I am the Golden Farmer of Golden Farm, and I would not call a weapon cared for because someone finally opened the door, but Owl’s Walk has never been Golden Farm. — Golden Farmer ⚡⚡ 🌩️🌩️ ⚡⚡ 🌩️🌩️ ⚡⚡ Do not judge me. Golden Farm has never been Owl’s Walk, and it never will be. My city does not preserve hunger in amber and call that mercy. I gave the Clown a road before threw himself to his doom. I gave Harley a choice before grief became rot. Be mindful of your narration, Farmer. Your field is not my city. Your stillness is not my life. —Arthur ──────────────────────── 🌽 LEDGER MARK 🌽 A hunger may be given passage.
