DRIP

SonicSketch
SonicSketch
Experimental, sample-driven seduction with a dark, physical groove, Build the entire track from strange found sounds rather than conventional electronic instruments: fingers tapping wood, rubber stretching, glass being rubbed, fabric snapping, water drops, muted knocks, breath, tongue clicks, scraped metal, creaking furniture and fragments of unidentified machinery, Chop, pitch, reverse, stretch and rhythmically rearrange these sounds until they become drums, percussion, textures and hooks, Deep, warm, distorted bass provides the foundation, occasionally bending or dropping away completely, Male vocal is close, dry and intimate, effortlessly cocky, moving between low murmurs, conversational phrases, rhythmic half-singing and occasional breathy upper-register accents, Keep pitched instruments extremely sparse, No glossy synth leads, Let silence and negative space create tension, The groove should be hypnotic, dirty, playful and unpredictable, with samples suddenly becoming rhythmic
