Homeward Bound - Part 3 of 3
They reach the clearing bathed in moon, Where fireflies dance to nature's tune, A hundred lights in starlit air, But someone else is standing there. In silver light, a Siamese, Her voice as soft as evening breeze, She whispers low, "Oreo, Misty, dear, My children, how you've grown, you're here." Now we're homeward bound, through the gentle night, Following the moon and the firefly light, Oreo and Misty, tired and true, Every adventure leads back to you, Back to you. (Ooh, back to you... ahh, ahh...) She sees Misty's gentle eyes of blue, Oreo's heart so brave and true, The love she gave them long ago, Lives in the bond that still will grow. A mother's pride beneath the stars, She's healed their hearts, she's healed the scars, But they've found home, a family new, She knows what they must do. Now we're homeward bound, through the gentle night, Following the moon and the firefly light, Oreo and Misty, tired and true, Every adventure leads back to you, Back to you. (Ooh, back to you... ahh, ahh...) She nuzzles close, then lets them go, A mother's love, they'll always know, Two families now, in heart and soul, Each one has made them feel whole, The fireflies glow as they depart, Carrying love from every heart. We are homeward bound, beneath the stars above, Oreo and Misty, made of love, Sister and brother, forever true, Every adventure leads back to you, Through shadow and shine, we'll see it through, Every road leads back to you, Back to you, Back to you. (Ooh, back to you...) (Oreo and Misty... ooh, ooh...) (Back to you... ahh, ahh...)
