I’m Michael R. Charbonneau, the writer and composer behind Charbonneau Soundworks. I publish original music under my own name, with releases distributed through DistroKid and lyrics managed through artist platforms such as Musixmatch. After earning a degree in Computer Science, I spent years working in Artificial Intelligence and research, while continuing to write lyrics and shape electronic soundscapes. I create music using Yamaha Motif XS and SY-85 synthesizers, Launchpad software, VST instruments, and AI-assisted creative tools. My goal is to blend technology, memory, melody, and emotion into reflective electronic, progressive, and cinematic music. All lyrics and compositions shared here are my original creative works unless otherwise noted.
