God paints in colors

V4.5

I walked a narrow path with blinders on my eyes, Thought I knew the truth, saw only lows and highs. Right or wrong, I judged the world with lines I drew so tight, Never saw the meadow bloom beyond my black and white. 🎶 But God paints in color, with mercy and grace, Sunrise and sunset, each soul in its place. He calls us to witness, not to cast stones, To love every child like they're one of His own. Oh, we miss His glory, we miss His light, When we only see the world in black and white. I saw the stranger’s ways and called them far from true, But never stopped to listen, to see their point of view. God made every nation, each language and each song, Yet I lived like only my kind could belong. 🎶 But God paints in color, with mercy and grace, Sunrise and sunset, each soul in its place. He calls us to witness, not to cast stones, To love every child like they're one of His own. Oh, we miss His glory, we miss His light, When we only see the world in black and white. 🎶 It’s easy just to label, to sort the wrong and right, But grace is not a ledger, it’s a flood of holy light. 🎶 He doesn't need enforcers; He’s asking us to see— The wondrous, wide creation of His sacred tapestry. Now I walk with open eyes, my heart a softer place, I see the face of Jesus in every creed and race. The hues of hope and kindness, the shades of peace and song, Were always there around me—I just saw it all wrong. 🎶 ‘Cause God paints in color, not just in lines, In forests and faces, in bread and in wine. He calls us to witness, to speak and to share, The beauty of His kingdom that's blooming everywhere. So I’ll lift my voice, and I’ll shine His light, And help others see beyond the black and white. 🎶 Help us see, Lord, help us love, All the colors sent from above. We were made to walk in light— More than black and white.
