Stronghold! Metsudah! Stronghold! Metsudah! Stronghold! Metsudah! Stronghold! Metsudah! [verse] You told me that I have a refuge, and a place that I can stay; Rooted in You then and now, You are my hiding place; No weapon ever formed against me, can possibly succeed; You let me stand in grace and peace and stare down my enemies; That lion wannabe is roaming, looking to devour me; Watching when my guard goes down; Throwing lies and exploitations; Try to beat me til I'm in the ground; [chorus] Let us lift up Your name, Great and mighty Adonai, You will reign, until the whole earth's bathed, in all Your majesty Invincible, impregnable, perfectly unassailable, I want to live in You and watch You move and see all Your enemies break We're gonna lift up Your name, In honor and praise, Let Your glory shine for all to find and see all the dried-out bones wake Stronghold! Metsudah! Stronghold! Metsudah! [verse] You told me that I have a refuge, and a place that I can stay; Rooted in You then and now, You are my hiding place; I choose to dwell inside Your shelter, in the shadow of Your wings, You're my fortress in the valley, in the place of my enemies; One day in that cloud You're coming; and on that day You fulfill Your vow; And we will all see Your glory, and on that day every knee will bow; [chorus] Let us lift up Your name, Great and mighty Adonai, You will reign, until the whole earth's bathed, in all Your majesty Invincible, impregnable, perfectly unassailable, I want to live in You and watch You move and see all Your enemies break We're gonna lift up Your name, In honor and praise, Let Your glory shine for all to find and see all the dried-out bones wake Stronghold! Metsudah! Stronghold! Metsudah!
