From Brazil to #Sunovision2025 🌈 This track was created especially for Sunovision—for me, the most heartfelt and meaningful event in the Suno community. I have so much affection for everyone involved—always kind, welcoming, and inclusive. I hadn’t written in Portuguese for a while, but I returned to my little notebook of lyrics and found verses that reflect my connection with Suno and this beautiful community. That’s how this version was finally born. #About me and #About the song at the end. Lyrics are translated line by line below. ---------------------------------------------------- đŸŽ” Portuguese lyrics + ‷ (English translation) Hum – Hei **[Verse]** Quando me olham, imaginam que eu sou um ser dito normal, ‷ (When they look at me, they imagine I'm a so-called normal person,) Com desafios sĂł banais, alguĂ©m que leva a vida ‷ (with only trivial challenges, someone who goes through life) Com a leveza herdada dos pais. ‷ (with the lightness inherited from their parents.) I've lived in the U.S. at different times in my life, but eventually work and family brought me back to Brazil. I don't think I can define my music or my lyrics—and honestly, I'm glad AI gives that old dream of a teenage amateur guitar player a real shot at expression. đŸŒȘ About “Senso Comum” This song came from a place of deep reflection and gentle rebellion. At first glance, people might see someone ordinary in me—but there's a storm beneath the surface. Senso Comum explores that clash between appearance and essence, between what society calls “normal” and what we actually feel. It’s an ode to misfits, overthinkers, and those who question everything—including the so-called "common sense," which often belongs to no one. With melodic hooks, abstract verses and a touch of irony, I tried to capture that restless energy of being curious, skeptical, and forever unfinished. It’s not about being special. It’s about being real in a surreal world. đŸ§Ș Style direction: This song blends the warmth and poetry of traditional MPB with a more contemporary and atmospheric sound palette. It draws from experimental and psychedelic textures, layered with soulful vocals, poetic lyrics in Brazilian Portuguese, and a touch of cinematic and vaporwave aesthetics. The result is a heartfelt indie ballad that lives somewhere between soulfunk, modern pop, and theatrical yacht rock, while still rooted in Brazil’s rich musical identity. 🎧 Give it a listen and let me know—what’s your version of common sense? Thanks to @goubie who, with his own song, inspired the initial lines of this lyrics!
