Joy in the Morning (God’s Morning)

They say the sun comes after the rain They say the joy comes after the pain But I’ve seen hearts that never found the light Still holding on through endless night We walk through storms we never chose Carry burdens no one knows And though the sky may sometimes break The peace we find can slip away But there’s a morning that won’t fade A light no storm can take away Not just a glimpse, not just a spark But endless joy to flood the dark We may not see it in this time But it’s God’s morning — yours and mine We share the warmth, we pass the flame We lift the fallen, speak their name Each fleeting sunbeam here on earth Points to a place of truer worth We help each other through the night Reminding hearts to hold on tight Though morning here is short and dim There's greater joy prepared by Him There’s a morning that won’t fade A light no storm can take away Not just a glimpse, not just a spark But endless joy to flood the dark We may not see it in this time But it’s God’s morning — yours and mine Joy may not come when we cry But His promise still stands high Not every night breaks into day But God has made a brighter way There’s a morning that won’t fade A love no sorrow can erase Not just a glimpse, not just a part But heaven’s joy for every heart So let us hold to what is true God’s morning waits for me and you Yes, joy will come… God's morning And it will never end… God's morning
