Episode 7: Clowning Plagiarism (Arthur-verse)
╔════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ 📚 ARTHUR-VERSE · SEASON 1 · ISSUE FILE ╠════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ 🗂️ SET: ARTHUR-VERSE · S1 ║ 🎵 TRACK: Episode 7: Clowning Plagiarism ║ 👥 CAST: Arthur / The Clown ╠════════════════════════════════════════════ ║ 🎬 SYNOPSIS: Somebody calls the Meta Author a plagiarist. Says the songs aren’t ║ real. Says the art is theft. The Meta Author doesn’t answer as himself. He ║ answers by slipping back into the story and speaking through Arthur. ║ ║ Arthur goes straight to the Clown, one of the pillars forged back in "Part 5: ║ Two Gods- Creation." Arthur hands the Clown a knife and a stage and basically ║ says, “Alright. Prove I’m alive. Prove this is art.” The Clown takes the ║ metaphor literally. A pen becomes a scalpel. Lyrics become tendons. The “proof” ║ becomes blood. The crowd goes from audience to meat, and the show turns into a ║ massacre with theater lights. ║ ║ The track argues its thesis while it commits the crime. Everything is borrowed. ║ Scales, notes, language. Originality is a myth, so the Clown tries to make theft ║ sacred by baptizing it in violence. By the end, he’s killed the audience too, ║ and Arthur is left whispering the question the Meta Author can’t ask himself: ║ What have you done? ║ ║ 🛋️ THERAPIST NOTE: This is shame defense turned into spectacle. “Plagiarist” hits ║ the Meta Author’s deepest fear, that his voice doesn’t count, that the work can ║ be erased with one sneer. So he reaches for the Rage pillar because Rage is loud ║ enough to drown out doubt. ║ ║ In DC terms, the Clown is the Joker. In Owl’s Walk, he’s the embodiment of what ║ happens when grievance gets handed a microphone. He doesn’t care about nuance. ║ He cares about impact. He turns a philosophy about creativity into slaughter ║ because slaughter is undeniable. Arthur’s final whisper is the crack in the mask. ║ The Meta Author wanted vindication. He got collateral. ║ ║ 🩺 FILED IMPRESSION: Narcissistic injury response with retaliatory moral theater ║ (Meta Author via Arthur); Sadistic amplification of grievance into mass harm ║ framed as “proof” (Clown). ╚════════════════════════════════════ [Vocalist: Meta-author speaking through Arthur: spoken] I need you to help me. They called me a plagiarist. They said my art wasn’t real. [Vocalist Clown: spoken] HAHAHAHAAHAAA Then let’s show them how alive your art is by killing it! HAHAHHAHAAAA [verse 1] Plagiarism? That’s your claim? Listen close It’s all the same. Your art, my art, everyone knows: It’s theft dressed up in prettier clothes. The Author lights a cigarette— a vape, a star. The stage is set. Hands the clown the knife. [whispered vocalist: Meta-author speaking through Arthur] ‘Cut his neck…’” [short instrumental: build up] [Verse 2] A pen becomes scalpel; ink runs red, Each lyric a tendon, each stanza bled. Hear the gurgle—listen: verse alive! Not plagiarism, kids—it’s art that thrives! [Chorus] Slice, slice, slice!—let the blood spray high, Paint the curtains, stain the sky. (slice) Every scream’s a note, every gash a rhyme— I write with knives in borrowed time. Slice, slice, slice —hear the theater roar. You’ll be next when I call for more. (slice) HAHAHAHAHAAHAA [Verse 3] And the crowd whispers low, “Is this still a song— Or are we the chorus he’s bleeding on?” The Author grins, the pen drips black: “When this one falls, I’ll DRAG MORE BACK!” [Chorus] Slice, slice, slice!—watch the theater drown, Blood sprays wide; the front row down. (slice) Every chord’s a nerve, every hook’s a scream, You thought this was music—it’s a fever dream. Slice, slice, slice!—oh, the spotlight shakes, Clap for the corpse; see what sound it makes. (slice) HAHAHAHAHAAHAA [Bridge – build up] Words are borrowed, songs are too, The scales, the notes—they’re OLDER THAN YOU! Every chord you strum, each beat you claim— All stolen echoes dressed in flame. Language, music, breath, and bone— No art is birthed by YOU ALONE! So cheer for theft; it keeps us alive— A stolen flame makes music survive! Creation’s cradle is theft, theft, theft! So clap for the crime— [Audience] it’s all you’ve got left! [Final Chorus- explosive, layered vocals, EPIC] Slice, slice, SLICE!—let the body prove, Original blood in every groove. (slice, slice) Raise your hands, or lose your grace, The Author paints death on the clown’s face Slice, slice, slice—let the audience know, It’s not just the stage— You’re part of the show. (slice) HAHAHAHAHAAHAA [Outro] “You want originality? Then clap as I make it scream.” (Slice, Slice, Slice) [Short Scream] AAH! [music stops] [outro: Arthur::whispered, fearful, awe] You killed the audience too….. What have you done?
