Wise Upon The Rock (Cover)

[Intro] (Spoken) Yo, you know that old story, rock versus sand. The house on the sand fell SPLAT Let’s build it on the strongest of all rocks, y’all! [Verse 1] The wise man built his house upon the rock, The wise man built his house upon the rock, The wise man built his house upon the rock, And the rains came tumbling down! [Chorus] The rains came down, and the floods came up, The rains came down, and the floods came up, The rains came down, and the floods came up, And the house on the rock stood firm. [Verse 2] The foolish man built his house upon the sand, The foolish man built his house upon the sand, The foolish man built his house upon the sand, And the rains came tumbling down! [Chorus] The rains came down, and the floods came up, The rains came down, and the floods came up, The rains came down, and the floods came up, And the house on the sand went SPLAT! [Verse 3] So build your life on the Lord Jesus Christ, So build your life on the Lord Jesus Christ, So build your life on the Lord Jesus Christ, And the blessings will come tumbling down! [Chorus] The blessings come down as the prayers go up, The blessings come down as the prayers go up, The blessings come down as the prayers go up, So build your life on the Lord! [Outro] So let's not have any "SPLAT" round here y'all Yes, just be wise on the rock like that Not the sand, so y'all don't go SPLAT! [End Song]
