Raw 90s-influenced grunge, slow-to-mid tempo (~68–92 BPM with drag), emotionally numb and exhausted tone, lo-fi garage mix with audible room noise and amp hum, heavy use of silence and space between lines, overdriven and detuned electric guitars with feedback swells and muted ghost notes, gritty rounded bass with long sustained notes, drums used sparingly with half-time feel, rim clicks, delayed kick entries, minimal cymbal use except for chorus impact, murmured and whispered male lead vocal with close-mic intimacy, breath and vocal crackle audible, shouted choruses that sound angry but drained rather than aggressive, mantra-like repetition building to a single cathartic shout before immediate collapse, instrumental sections that sag and almost stop, tape wobble and instability, sense of time slipping and snapping back, themes of numbness, chronic fatigue, dissociation, everyday moments passing unnoticed, unresolved ending that fades into silence rather than resolution
