╔════════════════════════════════════╗ ║ WELCOME TO THE ARTHUR-VERSE · S2 ║ ╚════════════════════════════════════╝ Arthur is a self-created author and storm god. He believes he created this world. The City of Owl’s Walk (O.W.) — inspired by Gotham City — has become self-aware… and calls herself **Mother**. Arthur becomes trapped inside the **Hall of Memory**: a vast museum lined with interactive paintings, each one representing a defining moment in Owl’s Walk’s history. Each painting is a memory. Each memory can be entered. Each memory carries consequences that defined the city. Throughout this season, Arthur is guided by: • **Smokey Lois** — a sharp-tongued, time-keeping guide acting as Arthur’s tether back from memory. ──────────────────────────────────── **RULES OF THE HALL OF MEMORY** 🚫 Memories of O.W. must not be rewritten 🚫 Changing canon risks erasing the world 🚭 **NO SMOKING** ──────────────────────────────────── 📁🧱🕰️ HALL STATUS UPDATE · USER ERROR DETECTED 🕰️🧱📁 ──────────────────────────────────── Arthur returns to the Hall of Memory riding the false confidence of a “successful” dive—canon intact, rope in hand—until Smokey Lois clocks his rule-bending and spots what he stole. Arthur tries to play it off, sends her on break, and pretends he’s fine. The moment Lois is gone, the real consequence hits: the case file he repurposed and gave away in “Roaring Rockets” wasn’t meant to guide him inside a memory—it was meant to label the hall’s memories/paintings themselves. Without it, every cave painting looks the same, and Arthur can’t tell which memory he’s choosing next. Panicked, embarrassed, and too proud to confess it, he jokes, snaps, and then dives anyway—while Lois returns to do the only thing that keeps him survivable: log it, clock it, and count to four. ──────────────────────────────────── 🚫📂 REFERENCE MATERIAL REQUIRED 📂🚫 [Intro] Uh-oh-waoh-uh-oh-yoah-yoi-yoi-yoi [verse 1] Back in the Hall, I swallowed hard and feel marble ground Lois said, “You did better, don’t you burn this place down. Did Tim help at all?” “Not yet. I saw the fall.” I said. “I gave Tim the file. Then cleaned it up all while…they bled Lois glared, “You push the rules. Why?! Do you think that’s cool?” —she pled Her eyes then see the rope I smiled, “It’s my hope. Now take your break,” I bite, and swallow it, “okay?”— I say I Watched her jaw clench, smile thin and let it sit today [CHORUS: Lois declares her break time!] I’m taking my break and for fuck sake Log it—clock it—write it down Don’t you turn this place around Don’t you touch the frame Log it—Clock it— or you’re to blame! [verse 2: Arthur spirals] Lois on break; I’m left standing here all alone (Hey! Hey!) I pace the Hall; I come across a cave of stone I check my bag for the file But it’s been gone for quite a while —My list! I need that file for a name Tim has it, I’m to blame —I hissed! That file is wiped and lost Now this cave comes with cost —I’m pissed! Each cave I pass feels wrong I can’t tell them apart— I start Smokey Lois, I need names! I’ve lost the chart [Chorus: Arthur spirals about Lois being on break] She’s taking her break and for fuck sake My list—my file—all gone! Which cave is this? All feel wrong That file, I should’ve saved My list—my file— are gone! Dum-buh-waoh-uh-oh-yoah-yoi-yoi-yoi [bridge: build up: Arthur and Lois banter] I hear heels click on tile I smell the scent of menthol ice I don’t want to talk about the file and how its gone, Lois won’t be nice Smokey Lois rounds the bend, lunch break done, back in, I put on my smug face and flash a grin. “Good girl,” I say. Lois snaps, “I’m not a dog.” I laugh, “Okay, but you are a bitch,” it’s your job — SOB! To my surprise she actually smiles. I don’t tell her without the file I don’t know this cave So I’ll just dive in and be brave. [Final Chorus: Lois declares her return from break] I’m now back from break and for fuck sake Log it—clock it—don’t play dumb You nuked my notes, now you’re undone You wiped it, gave it away My list—my file—A rope that’s frayed! You chose this cave, you’re going in Know this— mem’ries don’t need fixin’ Screw that page you tore I’ll still count to four [outro] Before Arthur departs He said something smart “Memory doesn’t run on schedules or lists… it runs on recognition… Thank you Smokey…” and Lois groans, “that’s so hokey!” womp-womp Uh-oh-waoh-uh-oh-yoah-yoi-yoi-yoi
