Another excellent song. Yes, IMO the melancholy could benefit from some balance. The latter part of the journey (I'm 78) can really be a time to positively reflect on the journey. Sure, there are losses, that is the way this game goes. And, if our expectations are not balanced then it can be a time of sadness. But, alternatively, it can be a time to say, "Aha, so this is how this game works!" And then, together with friends, reflect on, even celebrate, being part of life's journey. Cheers!
