The Barratt Project is my one-man musical playground — a slightly pretentious love letter to the idea that music should never be boring. Taking shameless inspiration from The Alan Parsons Project, I treat Suno like my own personal sonic laboratory. One day I’m writing sweet bubblegum pop about questionable life choices, the next I’m diving into glitchy unhinged punk or 80s hair metal anthems. I love pushing boundaries, blending genres that probably shouldn’t mix, and creating songs that make you think… or at least make you laugh while tapping your toes. I’m fully aware this is an absurd amount of effort for a hobby, but I’m having way too much fun to stop. Whether it’s clever storytelling, ridiculous comedy, emotional moments, or completely unhinged experiments, The Barratt Project exists to entertain, provoke, and occasionally make you wonder “why did he actually make that?” So welcome to the experiment.
