[Verse 1] Under a sea of blossom snow You appeared in a drifting glow Every step A whisper in the air I held my breath Afraid you’d fade somewhere [Chorus] Dancing petal Don’t disappear Stay inside this fleeting year I won’t move I only stare Afraid to breathe you out of the air Dancing petal Soft and true The world grows quiet around you [Verse 2] Sleeves like clouds Your shadow turns Flower rain on your shoulders burns I want to call But silence keeps As if one word could break this fragile dream [Chorus] Dancing petal Don’t disappear Stay inside this fleeting year I won’t move I only stare Afraid to breathe you out of the air Dancing petal Soft and true I fall in love with the moment and you [Bridge] If you glance back Just once My way (oh) Will this Spring choose to stay If you vanish when the branches clear I’ll still see you Every falling year [Chorus] Dancing petal Don’t disappear Stay inside this fleeting year I won’t move I only stare Afraid to breathe you out of the air Dancing petal Soft and true A quiet wish I send to you
