The Endless task

[Verse 1 – The Regari] The Regari stir in their shadows deep, Bairal whisper what none should keep. Once they were rot, corruption’s kin, Now they claw to let it in. The earth recoils, the rivers weep, And I must write while monsters creep. [Verse 2 – Porok Temny] Porok Temny, iron hand, Hero risen to command. He cries to depths no god will own, And carves his path through flesh and bone. He bears the weight of the age’s flame, And I must bind his cursed name. [Chorus] Ink and blood, the same will run, A thousand tales, but only one. Gods will break and heroes fall, And still I’m sworn to sing it all. [Verse 3 – The Gods] Lubinya waits in depths unseen, Helm guards towers cold and mean. The Light redeems with holy fire, The Two-Faced twists through dark desire. Their worship wars in temple halls, And I must note how each god falls. [Verse 4 – The Fau Cult] The Fau cult chants where shadows breed, They drink from rot, from ash, from seed. They promise freedom, promise flame, And leave their dead without a name. Their laughter cuts, their sermons bite, And I must carve it into night. [Chorus] Ink and blood, the same will run, A thousand tales, but only one. Gods will break and heroes fall, And still I’m sworn to sing it all. [Verse 5 – The Ender] The Ender waits with crown of ash, With marriage torn and Alltree smashed. The realms will break, the stars will fade, And every oath will be betrayed. His coming darkens every page, And I must mark the end of age. [Verse 6 – The Heroes I Follow] And here they march, the chosen few, One lies, one laughs, one loves, one rues. They brave the wild, they bleed, they burn, And never know which fate they earn. I trail them close, I write their song, And pray I do not name them wrong. [Final Chorus] Ink and blood, the same will run, A thousand tales, but only one. Madness rules, and hope is small Yet still I’m sworn to sing it all. [Outro – The Chronicler’s Whisper] The continent groans, the ages scream, Heroes stumble through a dream. And I one fool, with quill in hand, To map the madness of this land.
