Genesis Chapter 7 (Encore)

V5

(Verse 1) The Lord said to Noah, "Prepare now." Build an ark three stories high, Three hundred cubits long by fifty wide. Pitch it inside and out with care, For I will send rain, my wrath is fair. Seven days from now the flood begins, Gather your family, bring them in. (Chorus) Noah built the ark, just as God commanded, By faith he prepared, a shelter expanded. In the face of judgment, mercy's plan, A deliverance for the remnant, yes we can. (Verse 2) Two of every kind, male and female, Cattle, creeping things, birds that are able. Seven pairs of clean animals brought in, The air grew thick with impending sin. Noah was six hundred years old when came, The flood that washed away all shame. Rain fell for forty days and nights, As the world outside cried out in plight. (Bridge) Through the stormy sea, hope remained, In Noah's heart, a promise sustained. He waited out the deluge, trusting in grace, While the wicked perished in their place. (Verse 3) When the waters subsided slow, The ark rested on Ararat's snow. Forty days later, Noah sent out, A raven and a dove, to find the route. The dove returned with an olive leaf, Sign of life, relief from grief. Seven more weeks passed before they left, To start again, with hope refreshed. (Chorus) Noah built the ark, a testament to faith, Through judgment's fire, redemption awaits. In the face of destruction, love prevails, A new beginning after the rains. (Outro) Remember Noah, who walked by trust, When the world around was lost in dust. Prepare your hearts, seek refuge still, In the shelter of God's will.
