[Verse 1] Mom and dad are headed out Parents night out on the town and we are left to rule the house Denise is here to protect oh how they always forget us kids are going to do some crazy stuff [Pre Chorus 1] we'll jump off the walls Jump off the couch jump off the stairs we'll fall and yell ouch but there's one thing that we can't ignore [Chorus 1] The parents are gone We're free to do what we want But it has to be within the limits of the rules of the house The parents are gone What will we do with all this time Maybe we'll both get online and minecraft Now that the parents are gone [Verse 2] It's been two hours we'll never run out of things to do House is smellin' a lot like poo cause we forgot to turn on the vent [Pre Chorus 2] The sun has gone down But the fun goes up Oh no we see headlights as the parents pull up [Chorus 2] The parents were gone We were free to do what we want But it was all within the limits of the rules of the house The parents were gone We did so much with all the time Lets all calm down and unwind like the theme of Minecraft Now that the parents are here [Bridge] They've got out the car They're walking up close Their keys in the door Here they come The doors flings wide We see them there But all that we can do is stare [Chorus 3] The parents are here We've done all we wanted to do But now it's time to crash and enjoy our sabbath The parents are here it's time to brush our teeth No more reasons for this rhyme because it's bedtime Now that the parents are here
