In the garden He shed His blood As He prayed that God’s will be done Then betrayed by a kiss He gave up His life not His own He was led to a trial in the night Far away from the people’s sight They convicted Him falsely accused His will not His own Then He took the stripes on His back A crown of thorns on His head His carried His cross up the hill His fate not His own He took His last breath Then gave in to death Laid in the tomb Forever presumed In three days, the stone rolled away From death to life, He was raised Now He sits by the Fathers side His throne now His own He’s exalted forevermore He’s the one I’ll forever adore He did all this for me So, I could be free I’ll exalt Him forever I’ll exalt Him forever I’ll exalt Him forever The Lamb on the throne Blessing and Glory forever Power and might forever Holy, holy, holy. Forever Amen He’s exalted forevermore He’s the one I’ll forever adore He did all this for me So, I could be free
