Parking Lot Dreams [SSC8, USA]

[Verse 1] She leans on her cart, looks at her phone Tongue traces her lip, she is alone A cherry pops out of her bag, rolls alone I watch it wobble, then it’s gone [Prechorus] She laughs at nothing, a secret untold The breeze lifts her hair, whispers bold [Chorus] Oh to kiss her in the parking lot glow With a thousand others in a row Broad daylight let the whole world know I just want to love I just want to love [Verse 2] Her eyes scan the cars, in each a dream She’s scanning the lot, in a fantasy scheme A siren’s song, the cart wheels’ scream I hear it louder, than it seems [Prechorus] The milk in her hand could be champagne Each step she takes rewrites my name [Chorus] Oh to kiss her in the parking lot glow With a thousand others in a row Broad daylight let the whole world know I just want to love I just want to love
