[singer A] In the shadow of a crimson sky Where serpents coil and heroes rise A prince walks soft by day’s disguise But thunder lives behind his eyes Castle walls hold ancient flame A power bound to a sacred name When darkness calls, he won’t deny The truth he keeps locked deep inside [melodic transition] [singer A] By the power of Greyskull… I HAVE THE POWER! Lightning cracks and splits the hour From dust to flame, from man to might A warrior forged in endless light By the power of Greyskull… I HAVE THE POWER! Evil shakes before the tower When He-Man stands, the battle’s won Defender of Eternia! [transition] [singer B] People of Eternia, the war is over. My forces are victorious. The Sorceress of Greyskull is my prisoner, and her powers are now joined with mine! Let this be my first decree... those who do not pledge themselves to me shall be destroyed! The new age begins [singer B] The powers of Greyskull have not yet passed to you The dark can embrace the light but never eclipse it. You've not won yet, Skeletor. He-Man is still alive! I can feel him! [transition] [singer A] By the power of Greyskull… I HAVE THE POWER! Feel it surge, the final hour A lion’s heart, a titan’s cry He lifts the blade into the sky By the power of Greyskull… I HAVE THE POWER! Let it burn, let it devour All the darkness, all the lies Truth and strength will never die [singer A] Feel the thunder Hear the call Greyskull rises Over all [singer A] By the power of Greyskull… I HAVE THE POWER! Let it echo, ever louder Through the stars and through the war A legend carved forevermore By the power of Greyskull… I HAVE THE POWER! Stand and fight, the dark devoured When hope is gone and night is full Call the might of Greyskull! [singer B] I'll never KNEEL to you!! By the power of Grayskull ! I haaave the poowwwer!!
