[Verse 1] Stars fill the night sky Bull frogs are croaking It's no time to be shy The crickets are chirping [Verse 2] Setting on the river bank Camp fire is blazing Gator on the other bank Apparently it's just resting [Chorus] In the cool of the night His woman by his side Beneath the full moon light Lounging on the river side Fire flies are dancing Putting on a show The deer are prancing Staying in the shadows [Bridge] Oh the great out doors What a beautiful site The earth for a floor And moon for light [Verse 3] The owls are hunting For their next meal The deer are grazing In a near by field [Verse 4] The couple are snuggling By the cozy fire Enjoying the evening Hearts full of desire [Chorus] [Verse 5] A lone wolf howling In the distant hills As the couple is listening And it gives them Chills [Verse 6) Nothing could be finer A shooting star above And lounging by the river With the one you love [Chorus] [Fade to end]
