Bow down

V5.5

Tenor) The shadows gather at the iron gate, They whisper secrets of a fallen fate. A pact is written in the pouring rain, To rule a kingdom built on mortal pain. (Full Band - Heavy bass drops in, strings surge with sharp staccato notes) (Tenor) I hear the bells toll deep, For the promises we keep! Rise from the embers, awake from the sleep! Act II: The Sovereign’s Aria (Tempo increases to 120 BPM, driving double-kick drums and blistering electric guitars clash with sweeping orchestral choirs) (Soprano - Soaring, soaring over the rock instrumentation) Bow down, bow down to the sovereign of ash, Caught in the lightning, the terrible crash! The crown is forged in a freezing fire, Feeding the flames of a dark desire! (Choir - Ominous, chanting in the background) Sanctus... Dominus... Let the heavens fall and the embers burn! Act III: The Duet (The music pulls back into a frantic, progressive time signature. The Tenor and Soprano trade verses, their melodies intertwining and clashing like light and dark) (Tenor) You sought the power, you broke the seal! (Soprano) I hold the power that makes you kneel! (Tenor) We sold our souls to the midnight sky! (Both - Hitting a dramatic, harmonized peak) And now we watch the mortal empires die! Finale: The Cataclysm (Tempo: Fast and epic. The guitars, bass, full brass section, and choirs all unite for a wall-of-sound climax.) (Full Company) The ash descends! The empire ends! Raise up the banners of night! We are the shadows! We are the blight! (Guitar and violin solos trade off at breakneck speed. The final note is a massive, sustained crashing chord, fading slowly out with the sound of a lone, glowing cinder sizzling in the dark).
