From the Shire close by Tumbling through the gloss of morning Oak leaves whisper Acorns at their knees Follow fox tracks Follow laughter Threading through the golden trees… [Chorus] Cold water on their fingers Brighter than a dream They found mysterious green stones Shining in the stream Let’s hide them in the hollow tree… Where tangled roots still breathe… And no one will see them, Until we return here again… Oooooooaaaa [Verse 2] Pebbles skipping Rings across the flow Rory starts to count them Flora answers slow.. How far can the ripples go.. Stella’s pockets Full of river stones Silas hums a little story Time too gentle Slow to pass….
