Nordic Discord Challenge - Throwback Thursdays Genre: Gothic Rock Theme: Meltdown Lyrics: The doors slide open She walks inside Phone in her hand Anger in her eyes She grabs a basket She starts to complain The milk is too cold The coffee is plain She wants the manager She wants him now She points at the cashier Like she's making a vow Do you know who I am I need to speak to someone The whole store goes silent Here she comes Karen's having a meltdown At register nine Karen's having a meltdown And she's crossing the line I want your manager I want him right now Karen's having a meltdown And nobody knows why She throws down the coupons She slams down her phone This price is outrageous Why isn't this known A child starts crying The cashier looks pale Karen keeps screaming Like she's raising hell I've been shopping here for years You people should be ashamed She points at the ceiling Like the store is to blame Karen's having a meltdown At register nine Karen's having a meltdown And she's crossing the line I want your manager I want him right now Karen's having a meltdown And nobody knows why The lights start flickering The freezer doors shake The automatic doors Open and close The manager arrives She takes one deep breath Then points at his badge And screams, NOT YET MANAGER MANAGER MANAGER I WANT THE MANAGER She demands a refund For something she ate She wants an apology She wants it today She threatens a lawsuit She threatens the press She says she'll go viral And everyone laughs Karen's having a meltdown At register nine Karen's having a meltdown She's losing her mind I want your manager I want him right now Karen's having a meltdown And she's screaming loud Karen's having a meltdown The whole store can hear Karen's having a meltdown The apocalypse is near I WANT YOUR MANAGER The final battle cry Karen storms out the entrance And the cashier survives The doors close slowly The silence returns Someone picks up the coupons And the coffee still burns Tomorrow she'll come back At quarter past nine Karen will be waiting At register nine
