### Title: The Root of Hasiduth is Fear of the Lord #### Verse 1 The root of Hasiduth is fear of the Lord, Turning from passion, by His Word, Not fearing retribution or reward, But to be perfect in love, with hearts in accord. #### Chorus Thou shalt be wholehearted, with the Lord thy God, In fear and love, on the righteous path trod, Not for this world’s pleasure or the next to come, But for the Creator, whose will must be done. #### Verse 2 Great is the restraint from indulgent delight, Forsaking foods, in the Lord’s holy sight, Before a feast of fish or meat laid, He eats not to fullness, his passion stayed. #### Chorus Thou shalt be wholehearted, with the Lord thy God, In fear and love, on the righteous path trod, Not for this world’s pleasure or the next to come, But for the Creator, whose will must be done. #### Bridge A meritorious deed, hard to fulfill, Yet he persists, with unwavering will, As Abraham did, with fear and might, Proving his heart, in the Lord’s pure light. #### Verse 3 In every act, let fear be the guide, Not for the world’s lure, but to abide, In perfect love, with the Creator's grace, A God-fearing man, in every place. #### Chorus Thou shalt be wholehearted, with the Lord thy God, In fear and love, on the righteous path trod, Not for this world’s pleasure or the next to come, But for the Creator, whose will must be done. #### Outro So walk in fear, and love divine, With hearts that to the Lord incline, For the root of Hasiduth, pure and clear, Is found in the fear of God, sincere.
