[Michael My-lack]
(Kn-kn-knife…)
(The knife…)

[Protagonist]
Gimme my mind back
Back before “My-lack”
Took me captive (captive)
Back when I felt more adaptive, active
Back to that kid who was happy (happy)
Rarely had reason for sadness, that is
Who I still wish I could be
But sadly, that kid is no longer in me
Left me
Now Michael is ready to stab me
He wears a face that implies he would help me
And some days, I see past it
But others, I get in a trance, ain’t it tragic?
How I justify madness
And I ruminate nonstop about it
Found out
Every time I stay for their recital
I inch a bit towards being suicidal
In my mind, though
I act like that isn’t concerning
I’m too concerned with concerns for concerning

You put a gun in my hand
Say "Put it up to your head
Cause either way you'll be dead"
And I don't wanna comply
But I have to this time
I'd rather this than the knife

[Michael My-lack]
(The knife...)
(The knife...)

[Protagonist]
Gimme my life back
I don't like both of the options
I just don't know how to stop it
Yesterday, I almost called in
To see 'bout pricing out my coffin
So gimme my mind back
Gimme my- gimme my time back
I've lost a whole lot of time that
I could have spoken to God with
I'm so afraid of that knife, but
I'm really not that scared of dying
When I visualize all the methods
I always come to this conclusion
There's not a good way to die
There's not a- there's not a good way to die
Just don't let it be by the knife
Find drugs to make Michael dormant tonight

[Michael My-lack]
(NO!!!)

[Protagonist]
You put a gun in my hand
Say "Put it up to your head
Cause either way you'll be dead"
And I don't wanna comply
But I have to this time
I'd rather this than the knife

[Michael My-lack]
(The knife...)
(The knife...)

[Michael My-lack Takeover]

(Fear the knife…)

(Breathe in the smoke
Breathe in the smoke
Be ready for me when I come back with more
You one-trick pony...)

[Protagonist]
Put it behind me
Why am I stalling?!
God, I'm still falling!
Over-indulging!
Obsessive divulging!
Destined to be lonely!
I'm such a phony!
I'm such a phony!
I'm such a--

You put a gun in my hand
Say "Put it up to your head
Cause either way you'll be dead"
And I don't wanna comply
But I have to this time
I'd rather this than the knife

[Michael My-lack]
(The knife...)

(The knife...)
(The knife...)
