[Verse 1] November first hit like a fastball Cold winds blowing, yeah, we know it’s fall Decorations went up in a flash Christmas or Thanksgiving? Who needs to clash? *(echo: “Who needs to clash…”) Movies on the screen screaming “fall in love” But the only thing I’m falling for is Coffee, cookies, and a warm hug! (soft choir: “mmm…”) [Chorus] Christmas bells are ringing out tonight Got a feeling everything’s gonna be alright! (backups: “alright! alright!”) Winter’s wild, we’ve walked a thousand miles So sit back, relax, let’s party in style… I’m Christmas Mad! (gang vocals: “CHRISTMAS MAD!”) [Verse 2] Send me gifts all wrapped up tight I’ll tear ’em open now! (rip! crash!) Stocking stuffed with little delights I swear I won’t eat ’em yet! *(echo: “won’t eat ’em yet…”) Christmas time is messy and bright I might not fit in just right But when those gifts I bought come alive They get me singing all night! (backups: “sing it again!”) [Bridge] I may not be the wisest elf on the block But I’ve got a trick or two Christmas time’s a wild, wild ride And the party’s got room for you! (soft choir swell: “room for you…”) [Final Chorus] Christmas bells are ringing out tonight Got a feeling everything’s gonna be alright! (backups: “alright! alright!”) Winter’s wild, we’ve walked a thousand miles So sit back, relax, let’s party in style… I’m Christmas Mad! (full choir + gang vocals: “CHRISTMAS MAD! CHRISTMAS MAD!”)
