He handed me a small silver case and a destination. It looked like any other delivery. Still, something about his quiet smile stayed with me long after the Silver Kite lifted into the evening sky. E02 The station never slept. While the Silver Kite took on fuel and supplies, I watched ships drift through the endless docks. One of them stayed in sight a little longer than the others. When I looked again, it was gone. Maybe I was just imagining things. I set my course for the blue world ahead and left the station behind. E03 I'd never seen a city like that. Funny thing was, that little silver case was meant for someone behind those elegant gates. Before I could make sense of it, another case was waiting for me. I didn't choose the next destination. Somehow, it had already chosen me. E04 Beyond the emerald mist, I found an ancient hermit waiting in silence. He accepted the silver case with nothing more than a quiet nod, then placed another one in my hands. I checked the destination twice. It was the same desert world where all of this had begun. I couldn't help smiling. So that's where this road was leading. E05 I returned beneath the twin suns where everything had begun. The old guardian was waiting with the same quiet smile I remembered. He accepted the case without a word, then spoke a farewell I'd never heard before. I never asked what it meant. Some words can wait. I climbed back aboard the Silver Kite and watched the desert fade beneath the evening sky. Somehow, I knew this wasn't the end of the journey.
