Leather And Tutu [V5.5 Cover]

From pirouettes to power chords 🎸✨ This is the most iconic song I've ever written, and it deserved a 5.5 upgrade. (And it finally sounds the way it was supposed to, with the music box parts.) Rock on! 🤘🏼 *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "My momma wanted me to become a ballerina... Now, watch me ROCK THIS TUTU!" [Beat drop] Mmmm... Mm-mm... Mmmm... Mm-mm... Oh yeah! Mmmm... Mm-mm... Mmmm... Mm-mm... Whoohoo! ROCK ON! [Verse] I feel it beating Calling I can't contain myself anymore I feel it screaming Surging Seeping deep down into my core [Pre-chorus] Momma said "I'll take you to dance class!" I'm not so sure they can handle my sass! Momma said "That's not so lady-like!" But the beat's there, ready to strike! [Breakdown] The stage lights up in a silent plié... Def Leppard dreams awaken, in a bold relevé! [Chorus] Watch me rock leather and tutu The beat is there, and it goes boom-boom! Watch me rock, it's not a phase I'll set your whole world ablaze! Oh yeah! Whoohoo! [Verse] I feel it rising Breathing I can't stop myself anymore I feel it singing Bursting Now I want more and more and more [Pre-chorus] Momma said "You look best with long hair!" So I got a pixie cut, because who cares! Momma said "Rock music is vile!" I'd rather be nasty, but at least I'm on fire! [Breakdown] The stage lights up and I slip in chassé, Bon Jovi screams, time for a grand jété! [Chorus] Watch me rock leather and tutu The beat is there, and it goes boom-boom! Watch me rock, it's not a phase I'll set your whole world ablaze! Oh yeah! Whoohoo! [Instrumental] [Bridge] Rock dreams have awakened I can't stop, I won't stop Ballet shoes are forsaken Now it's time to rock on! [Final chorus] Watch me rock leather and tutu The beat is there, and it goes boom-boom! Watch me rock, it's not a phase I'll set your whole world ablaze! [Final instrumental] Oh yeah! Whoohoo! Oh yeah! Whoohoo!
