I never knew light could break like this until my heart began to lose pieces the day I lost you. It’s a different light now. It’s a light that lights up my shadows that you hold now. You’re forever in my heart. Grief is a broken light. Shining as it catches the light of memories. Grief is a light that never shines through and through. But still, there is always light.
