SC: Lord's Prayer - 5th thru 7th and Doxology

Forgive Us, O Lord (Song of the Petitions) (Verse 1) Forgive us, O Lord, as we forgive, Those who have wronged us, may grace freely give. Not by our merit, nor deeds we have done, But through Your mercy, Your grace like the sun. Daily we falter, in sin we reside, Yet in Your compassion, let grace abide. (Chorus) Oh, Father, we pray, hear our cry, hear our plea, Cleanse us from sin, set our hearts to be free. Grant us Your kindness, Your love shining bright, As we forgive others, Lord, guide us to light. (Verse 2) Lead us not, Lord, into trials so steep, Shield us from snares that the evil one keeps. The world and our flesh, they deceive, they betray, Guard us and guide us to walk in Your way. Temptation may come, but the victory's won, Through faith in the Father, the Spirit, the Son. (Chorus) Oh, Father, we pray, hear our cry, hear our plea, Cleanse us from sin, set our hearts to be free. Grant us Your kindness, Your love shining bright, As we forgive others, Lord, guide us to light. (Bridge) Deliver us, Lord, from all that destroys, From harm to our souls and the thief of our joy. And when the last hour draws close to our breath, Lead us to heaven through sorrow and death. (Verse 3) For Yours is the kingdom, the power, the reign, Forever and ever, Your glory remains. We trust in Your promise, our prayers You will hear, With hearts full of faith, we declare it sincere. (Outro) Amen, we say, yes, it shall be so, Your love everlasting, Your mercy will show. Forgive us, O Lord, and lead us each day, Forever in heaven, Your light guides our way. (Outro) Amen, we say, yes, it shall be so, Your love everlasting, Your mercy will show. Forgive us, O Lord, and lead us each day, Forever in heaven, Your light guides our way.
