There’s a good ole boy named Seth, A wife and kids, four broken cars in the shed. A big ass dump truck and other work toys A couple of business’s with other boys. He’s a hard workin' man back troubles and all But he keeps going; he has to bring in a haul. A haul of cash to take care of his brew. A beautiful woman, he wants to keep new. She takes care of him good and meets his needs. While he smokes and chews and drinks to his knees. She feeds him beans and lays him down. Then he gets back up and goes another round. Plantin' corn and beans and hay Driving the tractor day after day. Plows in the winter, mows in the summer, Doesn’t get much free time, and that’s a bummer. There’s a screw rolling around in his bum foot From a horse that stepped on top of his boot! He’s a good ole boy raised the old way, So Mom and Dad share the pay for his hay. He’s not always quiet; got the mouth of a trucker, Every other word rhymes with sucker. He can't go to church with a tongue like that So they leave him at home sleepin’ under his hat. He’s got a tender heart to a degree. When Christmas comes, it's all under the tree. He owns a repair shop with a big TV Has a gator for the kids to keep them busy! Sethy’s got a plan he doesn’t always share If you’re quiet and listen, you’ll see he does care. His people, land, and work are at his core As long as he can drink his beer and more. Since he was ten years old, he chewed that snuff Can't quit now; it’d be too rough. Smokin', drinkin', mountain dew and chew, Somebody pay the insurance that’s due. A good ole boy from the good ole days Who will live out his life never changin' his ways. He races home if the weather get bad Cause if he doesn’t, his family gets mad. He has forty five guns and ammo in the shed Mess with his kin and you’ll find yourself dead. Ya wont be found out back of the barn And Sethy wont give one damn darn. He’s a lover, a fighter, a hard working man A good-looking fellow with a farmer tan. A good ole boy forever is Seth. That good ole boy is Seth
