Greetings, carbon-based life forms~ We bring you gifts from ruby skies! Our ships shimmer like polished lies — Ack. Behold our harmless floating cities, Your leaders fawn for their committees — While our death rays quietly charge… Ack. Ack. So politely we shake your hands, So cheerfully we love your shows~ Soon we’ll destroy your governments — BOOM! goes the human joke we chose! We declare to all nations: peace forever! But your generals taste our laser weather, Dancing skeletons in nuclear uniforms — Ack. Notice how their children wave their flags, How their scientists beg for “cultural exchange”… Such adorable trust in mock smiles — Ack. Ack. Our ambassadors bow so deeply, While hidden weapons are ready~ When the signal comes — what beautiful fireworks! Earth’s last transmission: AAAAAAAACK! Your planet is now under new management. Please do not run, we are your friends. Thank you for your cooperation. AAAAAAAACK! Ack. Ack.
